A. I take a little bit of Dawn dish soap and add it to my watering can filled wiht water. Within a week they should be gone.

Q. What happens if i pour hydrogen peroxide and Chlorine down the bath tub drain? I was angry that the bath tub was flooded so i started pouring random stuff in the bath drain and when i pour this stuff in, a chemical reaction occurred. It began to react and bubble up. I read somewhere online that this creates hydrochloric acid but will it cause damage to the drain and possible harm to myself as well?

A. Hydrogen peroxide do not harm any body .All hair dye have to mix with hydrogen peroxide which came together when you buy (check) , I use to clean wounds and also put few drops in ear to clean .recommend by Doctors , so this stuff is good for clean the bath drain , but I would like to suggest better use H2So4 from car battery acid .

Is there a standard pour for whiskey and cognac in terms of ounces?
Q. I'm trying to find the standard pour as well as the rates charged for them in New York City. Right now at my bar, we're pouring 2 ounces for each straight up but the profit ratio is much lower than my vodkas and gins so I was considering changing the pour to a 1 ounce on the cognacs and whiskies. Since I'm starting a bottle service as well, it doesn't make sense for me to sell my cognacs and whiskies at a higher price at the bottle when my customers can get it for cheaper by the glass. If anyone has experience with this, I'd appreciate the help. Thanks.

A. the average pour is around an 1 1/2 oz.. because at our bar we pour our cognacs in a snifter we do use 2.. as far as whiskies and bourbons go we stay at standard.. As far as your profit ratio... thats up to you and the style of your club/bar. What i have done in the past is adjusted the other liquors to compensate for this profit loss.. You cant win on all fronts.. as long as you come out on top thats what matters in the end. As far as your bottle service goes.. You can either lower your bottle price to make it worth them buying it.. thus having a higher turnover rate of that liquor... or make it high so that they do buy it by the glass.. Talk to your bartenders and find out what they are selling and how... If you can make… [cont.]
